Swimways Baby Spring Float Sun Canopy – National Learn to Swim Day May 20, 2017

I have 3 grandsons under the age of 3 and water is a big concern for our family. At our home, we have a huge pond in the backyard and at our condo, we have a pool. We realize the importance of our grandsons learning to swim asap!

We taught our 3-year-old grandson using the Swimways Baby Spring Float Sun Canopy baby float and are now working on the 20-month-old, Tanner. I love the fit and comfort of these floats and the assurance of the cover to keep him from getting those sun rays!

The canopy has UPF 50+ sun protection with easy to remove or add, on and off snaps. The sides of the Swimways have a mesh material so that you are able to see the child in the Swimways the entire time they are in it. This Swimways Baby Spring Float is for ages 9 months to 24 months, so you are able to use it throughout the swimming season. Tanner loved that he was able to splash around and kick with no fear of tipping over. He is a big baby and this wide seating fits him perfectly.

As a middle school teacher, on a couple of occasions, I was made aware of middle school students drowning. This devastated the whole community, as you can imagine. I always think back to my family and how important water safety is!

Mark your calendars for this important date!! Or start sooner but please make sure your children learn water safety!

National Learn to Swim Day will be held on May 20, 2017.

After I began using the Swimways baby spring float sun canopy, my grandson, Tanner, is no longer afraid of the water and has even moved on putting his head under and learning to hold his breath. Next, we are going to work on kicking to the side. But thanks to the Swimways we are well on our way

If you are looking for an amazing safe water float check them out at Target! They carry this, swim step 1, and swim step 2 & 3 if needed. They can help your little one become and independent swimmer.

  1. This is exactly what I need for my granddaughter. She’s learning to school and I think it would help her overcome her fear of the water.

  2. That is a great way to let a child be in a pool. It also helps keep the sun rays at bay.

  3. It looks safe, for me, that’s most important aspect. I remember when I was a kid, we were braver I think. I’m not sure this gadget will help kids to overcome the fear of water.

  4. your grandsons are so adorable! But you’re right, safety is the most important. And besides, now that they know how to swim, you guys can have fun in the pool.

What a fun thing to help kids get used to the water! I remember when my grandson first went to the pool .. he was frightened at first. Now he swims like a fish!

  6. The baby float is a great tool to let the kids enjoy the water. I wish I had it when my daughter was younger. Thank God she still loves the water as we brought her often to the swimming pool as our family time.

  7. My son and daughter both loved this when they were younger. They would float around in for hours. I think our daughter even feel asleep in it once. They are great to have.

  8. Aw, that’s adorable! My little nieces and nephews would love it! They go on swimming school ♥

  9. The baby is really cute and adorable. The baby float seems to be really comfortable for them to swim in. I never got that in my childhood though. 🙂

How I wish we had this when the twins were younger! It would have been fun and it would have given me peace of mind every time we went swimming.

  11. This is really awesome! It’s going to make a lot of parents happy to have this gadget this summer! It’s pretty cool and convenient.

  12. HOw cute is this. I have been taking my saughter swimming, since she was 3 months and she is 3 soon and loves it.

  13. Thank you so much for this recommendation. This is going to be perfect for my daughter this summer. Definitely an investment that I’ll be making.

  14. I still can`t swim and I said to myself I will take my kids swimming from an early age, It is late for me though 🙂

  15. I’ve not seen these before it would have come in handy last year on our holiday abroad. I think my little man might be too old and bit for them now.

  16. Yeu Doi says:

Great! We have a pool and hardly use it and let our friends’ kids use it. We should have a kiddies pool party on May 20!

  17. I don’t have children to teach swimming and I can swim just fine myself so unfortunately it’s not gonna be much of use for me, but I applaude the idea, it sounds great!

  18. Omg this is too cute! I have a family friend who would just love this for her boy as they’re heading to Florida over the summer and will be the pool quite a bit. GOing to give her this link.
