Happy National Pancake Day!!

I was thrilled to wake up and realize it is National Pancake Day. I love any reason to not only spend time in the kitchen but have my grandson’s help me. We love to make a variety of pancakes in a variety of sizes. Just for fun today we made our baby, poppy and mickey pancakes!

I love to use any type of pancake mix, but one thing they must have is buttermilk! I was raised on buttermilk pancakes and to this day when I think about pancakes I remember our family’s Sunday morning breakfast time.

I do freeze my leftover pancakes, I hate to waste food! They are so easy to throw in the microwave they next time you want some and taste just as good!

Here are a few we made just for fun, as you can see we top our pancakes off with peanut butter!!

Our Mickey Mouse pancakes.

Poppy Size pancake.

Baby size pancakes!

IHop has free pancake stacks today for a donation. All the money raised is donated, so if you don’t feel like making your own, head that way for a good cause!
