I love spending time in the kitchen, especially if I have everything I need for a dish I am craving. This is the time of year, I love to make salads! Any type works for me. After eating so much for Easter we decided to try and eat light this week. We grilled chicken along with a ton of other food over the weekend, so I decided to make chicken salad. I call this my dump salad because I like to add what I have.
Of course, I couldn’t have chopped all of the ingredients up without my awesome new knife from Ozeri, it is a 3-pack of the best cutting knives you will ever use. I was so impressed with how sharp and smooth these knives are! They are so comfortable in your hand while you are using them and cut so quickly it doesn’t even seem like you are working!
So here is how I made this “dump” chicken salad:
Chopped up leftover grilled chicken (I had three-quarters left)
Chopped up 1/2 apple (I slice the other half to serve with the salad)
1 tsp Curry powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1/4 chopped green onion (or any other type onion you may have)
Mix it all together and serve. I love to serve on crackers!
